About the event
Hitchhiker: We meet a certain Ronald Adams, a man on a cross-country road trip from New York to California. As he drives, he repeatedly sees the same mysterious hitchhiker—a gaunt, unsettling figure who appears on the roadside again and again, no matter how far Adams travels. Growing increasingly disturbed, Adams tries to outrun the stranger, only to realize that no one else seems to see the hitchhiker.
The Lost Special: A small private train—a locomotive with a single carriage—commissioned for a special trip disappears. The train departs from Liverpool with two passengers, including a mysterious foreigner, but it never arrives at its destination. The railway officials are baffled, as no branch lines exist where the train could have turned off, and no wreckage is found along the route.
