Virtual Staged Reading Series

Last Night: Gil and Jacqueline (Jackie) Blaine are two nice people working hard to run a dude ranch for visitors from the city. They have nice guests and rude guests, but Mr. Burroughs takes the prize for rudeness by abruptly departing early one morning. The problem is, Mr. Burroughs never arrived home and now his wife wants to know where he is!

Bells:   Henry and Lucy Fielding are a happily married couple who need to get away from their noisy cramped apartment. They have looked high and low for a larger quieter house in the suburbs, but the high rents are a big problem. Lucy accidentally purchases the wrong newspaper and discovers just the house they’re looking for and for a very affordable rent. But the low rent actually comes at a higher cost than either of them could have possibly imagined

Virtual Staged Reading Series

The Stand-In: Diana Burke is a talented actress chafing under her role as a stand-in for the famously imperious actress Madame. It turns out thatMadame’s husband Dennis O’Brien is also  chafing under his role as the most recent and always supportive spouse. Together, Diana and Dennis decide they’d each rather play a leading role together, but without Madame.

Marionettes from Dimension-X:   Henry Smith and Walter Graeling are two happily married men. Henry loves his wife but would like more time with the boys. While grousing at the local watering hole, Walter tells Henry that he has just the thing to solve Henry’s problem. It turns out though, that what is good for the gander is also good for the goose in this strange tale of technology replacing reality.

It's a Two of Us Christmas

A Christmas Carol:  A Christmas Carol opens on a bleak, cold Christmas Eve in London, seven years after the death of Ebenezer Scrooge's business partner, Jacob Marley. Scrooge, an ageing miser, dislikes Christmas and refuses a dinner invitation from his nephew Fred—the son of Fan, Scrooge's dead sister. He turns away two men who seek a donation from him to provide food and heating for the poor and only grudgingly allows his overworked, underpaid clerk, Bob Cratchit, Christmas Day off with pay to conform to the social custom.

That night Scrooge is visited at home by Marley's ghost, who wanders the Earth entwined by heavy chains and money boxes forged during a lifetime of greed and selfishness. Marley tells Scrooge that he has a single chance to avoid the same fate: he will be visited by three spirits and must listen or be cursed to carry much heavier chains of his own.
